Update + PALADIN

Hello folks!

Thank you for your patience as we sort things out. Here's a brief update on where we stand:

• The last two Path decks are being finished up right now (Chivalry and Shadows - text is done and edited, art is being finished), and then we'll be going to print. We've already got all the other decks approved at the printers. The
• The Path of COLD Shadows expansion will be included to any backers who got the Path of Shadows as a free gift and thank you for your patience during this hard time. 

The end is in sight. We're getting close. Thank you so much for your patience. 

PALADIN

PALADIN: Warriors of Charlemage is on Kickstarter right now from Nocturnal Media. This had been the project Stewart was preparing to launch in early July before he passed, and to honor him and his passion and excitement for all things Pendragon, we've moved ahead with it!

We've already funded and unlocked 3 stretch goals. The corebook is a massive tome, clocking at 708 pages in manuscript form, and we've enlisted some of the best artists we can find to make this a reality.

We'd love it if you'd come take a look, and help us spread the word about this.

Hi folks,  

I'm Alan Bahr, Associate Producer at Nocturnal Media. At this point, I'm sure you've all heard the terrible news about Stewart's passing. I can't imagine how hard it's been on everyone (I can only speak for myself), but now comes the point where we have to push forward, past the pain, sorrow, and confusion, and this update is the first step down that road. I'm popping in to make sure you know a few things.    

Path of Morality!

The fifth and final deck of Storypath Cards associated with this project is complete and ready for you to download (watch your email for a notice from BackerKit)! This deck is Path of Morality and it's the free deck that was added as a stretch goal. You'll note that instead of being a 36-card deck like the others, it's actually a 34-card deck as we needed to use two of the cards to explain the deck and its special rules. Some black and white beads or other types of markers are also needed when using Path of Morality to track which side of the path you're traveling.

I hope you enjoy this special, bonus deck!

In addition, the new tarot-card sized Whimsy Cards are finished. You'll receive an easy-to-use link from BackerKit for that as well.

These two decks and the prior four decks of Storypath Cards all go to press this coming week.

The Moods of the Mad King

Also going to press very soon is Alan Bahr's The Moods of the Mad King that is seeking funding now on KS. Alan has joined Nocturnal Media in part on the strength of his Kickstarter deliveries (all on time or early!) and Moods is a micro game of his design. It's a 15-minute game for 2-4 players.

Final Artwork + New Artwork

We made it! The card art for Path of Morality is due to be completed this weekend!

In addition, there's a brand new whimsical illustration for the back of Whimsy Cards.

That means within the next 1-2 weeks you'll have PDFs of the final deck of Storypath Cards plus the now tarot card-sized Whimsy Cards.

That in turn means that all of these decks will go to press before the end of May. We're targeting May 15th, but I'll update you about the exact schedule over the next couple weeks as we complete the final steps to press.

Also, these six different decks will be packaged in a single display box, so if your rewards include all six decks then you'll be receiving one nicely packaged item of six decks! If you'd like to change your pledge or pre-order so that you'll also receive all six decks (especially now that we're actually near to fulfilling...!), then please send me a message and I'll unlock your BackerKit page so you can make these changes.

Complete Storypath Card Backs

We're almost there! The back of Path of Morality is finished. You'll recall that this is the free fifth deck that was unlocked a stretch goal.

The card illustrations are in progress and I expect them to wrap up soon. I believe all five decks of cards will go to press in April.

Here again are the other four card backs. They will appear in these corrected versions on the printed cards. New PDFs with these backs will also be made available via DTRPG when the press files are created.
